About Communication

What do you expect to learn from the podcast project? (List as many as you can.)
First, it is very practical for us to use the vocabulary and grammar of Japanese in our podcast project. We can practice and strengthen what we learned in the classroom.
Secondly, we can use this podcast to know more about Japanese culture. As we know, we will visit different Japanese culture related spots in the city. From this process, we can have a greater exposure of Japanese culture.
Thirdly, we maybe communicate with Japanese people through this video and listen to their advice and find out how to learn Japanese more efficiently.

What does "communication" mean to you?
I think by saying communication we mean we have the sense to convey or deliver some information to the person who does not know it beforehand. With this project, our  target audience is Columbia student and Japanese people who wants to stay in New York city. The information that we want to convey is that people can find a lot of Japanese-related places in the city. If they are interested in Japanese culture, we offer them some suggestions and selections for them to visit or use for fun and study. We also wants to show that Japanese culture in New York City is very alive and unique comparing to cultures of other countries. 

私の好きな物

私は　色々な好きな物があります。
最近　テレビドラムを　いつも　見ています。一つ　ドラムが　好きです。このドラムの名前は　ガリレオです。ガリレオはニックネームです。本名は湯川学ですが、実は探偵。ガリレオは　大学の先生です。でも　時々警察と　事件を　助けています。


主演は福山雅治です。福山さんは　日本の有名な俳優です。

このドラムは　すごくおもしろいです。今　日本に　大人気ですよ。ぜひ　みてください。

私の冬休み

皆さん、こんにちは。

新しいがっきは　始まりました。冬休みは　どうでしたか。

私は　冬休みに　学校のりょうに　住んで　いました。色々な　ニューヨークのレストランへ　行きましたから、沢山　食べ物を　食べました。ニューヨークの日本のレストランは　小さかったですが、とても　美味しかったです。そして、素敵な　ラメンやを　探しました。

ニューヨークの冬は　とても　寒かったです。沢山　雪が　降りました。　学校のりょうに　エアコンが　ありましたから、全然　寒くなかったです。

この冬休みは　楽しかったですね。
